Where it works. Beside a bed at about 1.5m from the floor, either side of a mirror at 1.7m, or along a hallway at 1.6 to 1.8m. It clears a standard headboard.
How much light. Soft rather than bright. Two of these will light a bedroom for reading, but you will want something else for getting dressed.
Bathrooms and outdoors. IP20, so it is fine in a bathroom outside Zones 0 to 2 — generally more than 600mm from a bath or shower. If you need it closer, look at the Cley.
Dimming. Yes, with a compatible LED bulb and a trailing-edge dimmer. The bulbs we have tested it with are listed below.
